About me -: My name is Rita Rana. I am Indian. I live in Punjab, India which is my birthplace also. I am 20 years old. Presently, I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in Arts. This year, i have self-published my first ebook "Need Of A Change " through kdp. My book is a collection of poetry and prose.

Que -: was your creativity affected in any way during the lockdown? Did being lockdown make you feel inspired or deflated?

Ans. -: My creativity has not been affected in any way during this lockdown, infact, i have published my first book during this lockdown. This lockdown has made me felt both ways, i feel inspired because of goodness and kindness of those strangers who are providing free food to needy people during these tough times, but i feel deflated because of those people who are not considering this pandemic as serious issue and  avoiding instructions, these people are shamelessly risking others' lives too.

Que -: how did you occupy your time?

Ans. -: I have started doing Yoga and meditation during this lockdown to keep me fit physically as well as mentally. Except this, i am writing a novel, i make paintings and i participate in online contests too.

Que -: what was the main thinking behind your poem submitted to 'Together behind four walls' ?

Ans. -: i have observed that books are most helpful and are main source of encouragement during these tough times. Many writers are trying to keep people motivated with their blogs, poetry, stories etc. My submitted poem is a small tribute and a compliment to all the writers.

Que -: Do you hand write poems or go directly on to your computer?

Ans. -: i always hand write my poems first, because i like to do it this way.

Que -: Do you ever give up on poems you have started?

Ans. -: No, i don't. I never keep my poem unfinished.

Que -: do you do any other creative activities?

Ans. -: Yes, i play Sitar ( a musical instrument) and i make portraits, paintings and handmade gifts.

Que -: what inspires most of your poems?

Ans. -: The positive perspective towards life and world, and importance of self Love inspires most of my poems

Que -: Do you have any favourite poems from all the poems you has written?

Ans -:
Yes, my favourite poem is "Never Stop" from my poetry book,

Once if defeat happened,
it cannot be same always.
Never stop trying, if you desire the winning days
Once if you are sad,
you will not be gloomy forever
Never stop enjoying the life, then you will be happier than ever
Once if you stuck in problem does not mean you cannot come out
Never stop finding the door to solution clearing the doubt
What happened once will keep always changing,
Darkness will come and go, you must never stop shining
Que -: Do you remember the first poem you ever wrote or one of the first?
Ans. -: Honestly, i do not remember my first poem. I love rhyming and writing poems since my childhood, i wrote my first poem when i was in school and now i do not  have that notebook in which i have written my poem.

Que -: Do you only focus on poetry or do you also write prose?

Ans. -: i write both, my first published book is a collection of 51 motivational poetry and prose.

Que -: Do your poem ever have strong message?

Ans -: Yes, i always try to convey a strong message through my poetry, and i have written poems for LGBTQ, self-worth and equality.

Que -: How would you describe the tone of your poems?

Ans. -: Most of my poems are narrative in tone in which i try to narrate my observation of world.

Que -: If you had to write poem about yourself, how would it start ?

Ans. -: It would start like this -:

My tongue failed to express myself but my pen succeeded.
